Comprehensive Care, Under One Roof

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

TMS uses focused magnetic pulses to stimulate the parts of the brain involved in mood. It’s FDA-cleared for adults with major depressive disorder who haven’t improved enough with antidepressant medication. You stay awake during sessions, need no anesthesia, and can drive yourself home. Many plans cover TMS, including Medicare.

Spravato® and Ketamine Treatment

Spravato® (esketamine) is an FDA-approved nasal spray for treatment-resistant depression and for depression with suicidal thoughts. Most insurance plans cover it. For patients without coverage, we also offer intranasal ketamine as an off-label, self-pay option. Both are given in our office with two hours of monitoring, and you’ll need someone to drive you home.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Our IOP gives you structured group and individual therapy [X days a week] while you keep living at home and keep up with work or family. Scott Hassler, LCSW, LAC, has led the program since 2018. It serves adults managing depression, anxiety, trauma and co-occurring substance use.

Psychiatric Services

Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis and medication management with a board-certified psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner. Follow-ups happen in person or by telehealth, whichever fits your week.

Miguel Angel Stamati, M.D.

Dr. Miguel Stamati is a highly regarded psychiatrist. He practices at Awakenings KC in Prairie Village, KS, offering both in-person and virtual sessions. He earned his medical degree from the National University of Córdoba and brings a comprehensive understanding of diverse mental health needs. He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
